Healthy carbohydrate foods- These consist of abundant sources of carbohydrates. Especially rice, sweet potatoes, beans are the main sources.
Healthy fat diet foods- While having lots of fatty foods can lead to obesity, consuming limited amounts of fat can be healthy. Oil supplements, seeds, peanuts, butter, ghee are rich sources of fat. Fat if consumed in a controlled manner can be classified as part of a healthy weight loss diet.

A balanced healthy diet should contain foods from the three sources above in harmony. It helps in maintaining a proper and smooth lifestyle if we stick to healthy food. Many people follow certain diets for a short time and then abandon them. It is important to note that healthy diet foods should be consumed continuously to keep the body in shape.

Most people think healthy diet foods taste bad and there is no variety available to eat. The weight loss food is quite tasty and has a lot of items too. Greasy food and junk food are not part of a healthy diet. These foods tend to cause many dangerous diseases and ailments. To have a healthy diet, one must avoid it. People who indulge in unhealthy diet foods tend to suffer from dangerous diseases such as cancer, hypertension, heart disease and diabetes.

One should consume the correct number of calories as calculated according to the diet plan. Each food item carries certain calories. It is important to consult a nutritionist regarding the number of calories provided by certain foods. Eating healthy food is one way to avoid disease and stay fit.
